Intermodal Traffic
Sea Containers traffic represents the majority of Interporto di Padova intermodal traffic; the remaining part is formed by the land combined traffic (swap-bodies and semi-trailers).
The following table highlights the total traffic results in terms of I.C.U. (Intermodal cargo Units) from 2001 to 2008. The data refer to the whole sum Containers (Teu) + Swap bodies + Semi-trailers.

Of course, due to the economic crisis of the markets, it could not be avoided to affect also the overall traffics of InterportoPadova that, although they remain of primary importance at the national level, showed a general decrease of approximately 12.9%.
It is still to underline that also in this case, such a result not only had never been reached by any national terminal, but also promotes InterportoPadova S.p.A. among the leading facilities of this sector even at the European level.
