Interporto Padova is an intermodal platform that integrates two modes of transport: road transport and rail.

It is located in the industrial area of Padua, which includes about 1,300 companies with over 27,000 employees. 

It is well connected to the motorway network via the Padova Est exit of the A4 

(Turin – Milan – Venice – Trieste) and the Padova Zona Industriale – Freight along the A13 Padova – Bologna. 

The connection to the rail network is instead provided by a 4 km of electrified line that connects the Terminal and Container freight station of Padova Padova Central Freight Station and from there to the national and international network.
