The warehouses are equipped with temperature-controlled cells (even -20°), large manoeuvring and parking areas for vehicles, loading ramps, fire-fighting systems, and heights suitable for modern logistics.
is the urban distribution service with low environmental impact, designed and managed by Interporto Padova since 2004, thanks to a programme agreement with local public authorities (Municipality, Province, and Chamber of Commerce of Padua).
Cityporto uses low impact emission vehicles (CNG-fuelled or electric vehicles), and brings together the deliveries from different operators, thus reducing the traffic of goods freight vehicles in urban areas. At the same time, it reduces the pollutant emissions and urban congestion, with a benefit for the entire city.

On the roofs on the warehouses there is one of the largest roof-mounted photovoltaic systems in Italy
in Italia, con una potenza di ben 13 MWp; tale impianto ha una produzione annuale di energia pari al consumo medio di 5000 famiglie.
Inoltre Interporto Padova ha realizzato anche un innovativo impianto fotovoltaico da 700 KW destinato alla alimentazione delle attività terminalistiche, a partire dalle gru elettriche a portale ed ha allo studio l’applicazione di un sistema di accumulo di energia in grado di alimentare il terminal anche nelle ore notturne.
