Franco Pasqualetti appointed new chairman at the shareholders’ meeting that approved the 2020 budget and appointed the new board of directors

The shareholders’ meeting of Interporto Padova SpA today unanimously approved the 2020 Budget and also unanimously appointed the new Board of Directors and Chairman.

Franco Pasqualetti (in photo), currently vice-president of the Padua Chamber of Commerce, was called upon to lead the Padua logistics platform for the next three years. The board members are Umberto Zampieri, Mario Liccardo, Katia Pizzoccaro, Barbara Degani, Nicoletta Salvagnini, Ugo Campagnaro, Alberto Cecolin, and Massimiliano Pellizzari.

The approved financial statements closed with a pre-tax profit of EUR 2,806,336 and a net profit of EUR 2,301,624. The total production value is 36.8 million (+7.71% on 2019)

Despite Covid, intermodal traffic volumes are growing and in 2020 they will touch an absolute record in the history of the Freight Village with 360,580 TEUs, +13.75% on 2019, thanks to the 7180 trains carried
