Interporto Padova was the protagonist of the Padua leg of TOP 500, the initiative of the GEDI group newspapers (Repubblica-Stampa-Mattino di Padova) that analyses the performance of the best companies in the area and explores the most interesting topics for the economy.

The opportunities of innovation were at the centre of this edition and the president of Interporto Padova Franco Pasqualetti illustrated in a live streaming followed by thousands of entrepreneurs, the project of total and complete automation of the intermodal terminal that has already started and will be completed by 2023. Interporto Padova’s terminal will be the first automated in Italy and one of the very first in Europe.
