Shareholders’ meeting appoints Sergio Gelain as new company president

The ordinary shareholders’ meeting of Interporto Padova SpA, which met on Friday, appointed Sergio Gelain to the position of company president. His mandate will expire with the approval of the 2017 financial statements. Sergio Gelain, 64, is already a member of Interporto’s board of directors, in which he has until now held the position of vice-president, and works as an entrepreneur in the field of advertising communication. In the past, he held the position of provincial president of CNA Padua.More than 80% of the share capital was present, and the resolution was abstained by the Municipality of Padua, APS Holding SpA, and Consorzio ZIP (about 37% of the capital).

The Shareholders’ Meeting also resolved on the number of members of the Board of Directors, deciding not to appoint a new director to replace Sergio Giordani, who resigned on 23 February.
